Ingredients
2 TBSP yeast
1/4 cup sugar
2 tsp salt
1/2 cup butter
1 egg
4 1/2 - 5 cups all purpose flour
2 cups warm milk
Directions
1. Combine everything except the milk.
2. Slowly add the milk, stirring until combined.
3.Turn dough onto a floured surface and knead until smooth and elastic,
but still soft. Coat the inside of a bowl with olive oil and return
the dough back into the bowl. Cover with plastic wrap.
4. Let the dough rise in a warm place about 30 minutes, or doubled in size.
*Preheat oven to 375 degrees*
5. When the dough is done rising, turn onto a floured surface. Knead a couple times.
6. Butter or spray a 13x9in pan with non- stick.
7. Pulling off a piece of dough at a time, form into a ball and place in the pan. Repeat until all the dough is in the pan.
8. Melt some butter and brush each roll. Bake for 15- 20 minutes or until golden brown.
9. When the rolls are done, brush with more melted butter! Try not to eat them all. You can do it. I believe in you.
I love the joy of eating from scratch homemade rolls! Look delicious and moist!
